Marina Adams is a painter based in both New York City and Parma, Italy. She earned degrees from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and Columbia University’s School of the Arts. Adams’ work has been the subject of a number of solo exhibitions, most recently with the gallery and publishing house, Karma at the Independent in NY concurrent with their publication of her newest book, titled Portrait and a Dream. She is a 2016 recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship.
