With a selection of different artistic positions, Galerie Stihl Waiblingen will devote itself to the concept of drawing in contemporary art in the summer of 2017. It reaches beyond the sketches, the mere preliminary study or the design. According to Paul Klee, the line takes thought and translates it into a picture. It has been observed for a number of years that many works are created that are interspersed between the sensuality of the dynamic expression of the line and the abstraction of a conceptual use of the drawing process.
