JOHN MILLER'S UPCOMING SHOW

The Collapse of Neoliberalism will be on view from january 30, 2020 until march 14, 2020 at Metro Pictures.

"John Miller has been exploring notions of identity, economics, and social class throughout his forty-year practice. His latest exhibition at Metro Pictures concerns, among other things, life's petty annoyances and the everyday malaise of contemporary society. It features a video work titled Toll Free, together with two installations and a series of large-format photographs depicting mannequins.
One of the installations on view, Project for a Revolution in New York, is comprised of six mannequins forming a schematic rock band locked in a state of detached contemplation. The deadpan ensemble elicits questions about youth culture's promise for societal renewal."
